What is your favorite Pokemon video game?

I personally love the old gameboy color Pokemon games, especially Pokemon Yellow.

Come on! Pok'emon red is the best of the Pok'emon games!....because its the one I had when I was little...

Ironicly though my starting Pok'emon was a Squirtle not a Charmander lol!
also I didn't let my Squirtle evolve because my younger self thought he was like the Pikachu on the tv show which didnt want to evolve, so on my Red cartridge to this day I have a lvl 100 Squirtle lol!

I always wondered how popular pokemon was in Europe... was it as popular as USA? We had the tv show, cards, and everything here.

Yeah it was just as big as the in the USA, trouble was that you guys got everything before we did, So I had a mate of mine who's Aunt lived in America and every time she visited he got all the best Pok'emon cards / toys that we would see for like 6 months!
But yeah as far as I can tell (here in the UK at least ) europe goes through all the same crazes just like a few months behind.
The only thing Europe seemed to miss out on was the early Nintendo thing which you guys got, cos I don't know any one who owned a NES or SNES in the 90's it was all Sega stuff, the first Nintendo console I remember playing is the N64, thats the only difference i have noticed when it comes to video games between the USA and Europe


Also Pok'emon red eats Pok'emon yellow for breakfast, just saying lol

DAMN, you guys had to wait 6 months? thats crazy. You could probably import it faster as long as it is not a video game with a region lock.

True say but bare in mind at the time I would have been like idk 10 ish? and at the time the internet suckkked so I doubt I would have been able to do that! lol
But yeah America used to be the filter for Europe when it came to Japanese stuff so we would only get it if it did well in america which is why you guys got a lot more anime in the 90's / early 00's than we did

okay.. well it's sadly been a real long time sense i played pokemon. i think i'd have to go with my brother ( i think ) with pokemon yellow. all i remember is starting with trying to catch nitorina/nitoran and ending with trying to defeat slow bro ( make him move). i've got to say i played it at least a dozen times while my brother had it and that's saying something for a game; the fact that after you finish it; you'd play it again.

oh yea i also have 181 pokemon cards and 1 gold jiggly puff card..lol
